MEET JANA,
Jana Hertz, founder of Six-Dot Solutions, Inc. is a highly respected braille transcriber / alternate media specialist and has served the blind population for the past 32 years.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, and possesses certifications by the Library of Congress in Literary Braille (EBAE) and Unified English Braille (UEB). She has been transcribing educational materials, classroom curriculum, and textbooks for twenty-two years. 

Service History

​It has been an honor to serve in numerous leadership positions and organizations, including:

Training Experience

  • Instructor / Grader, NLS Braille transcribing course 22 years
  • Instructor / trainer / mentor for parents, paraprofessionals, and support staff with over 25 years of experience: Learning to decipher the braille alphabet is the first step in understanding its versatility and importance to the people who use it every day. Teaching and training paraprofessionals and support staff allows the opportunity for literacy through braille. Braille is knowledge, and knowledge is power.
